The only GM plants that were allowed to assemble them were Flint, Janesville, and the old St. Louis Truck Assembly. They ceased R/V operations in August of 1987. Factory fuel injection, modern electronics, and the re-introduction of the bigger 5.7 liter 16-valve 350 pushrod V-8 (with fuel injection) after a 7 year absence are what make these unique and highly sought after. Some owners however, do continue to use them for work, unaware of how special the trucks are. This is a V-Series V-10 Fleetside with shift-on-the-move four-wheel drive.
