This show had some interesting points, but like all Aaron Spelling productions, generally a pile of crap. They have this damn scene in the credits, which always turned my stomach. This and when Matt Houston crashes the E-Type (with Earl Scheib $99 paint job) was a really turnoff, despite Lee Horsley actually being a good actor. Most obvious foreboding moment in this series is when Houston tells his secretary CJ to use the company station wagon, and ancient LTD. You know that there is going to be a dramatic accident, and in this case, Laurel and Hardy lookalikes who fix the brakes. |
