I have a feeling that there aren't many Corsica's left, am I right? -- Last edit: 2013-05-23 22:16:23 |

But the survivors are available for nearly no money. |

Not entirely. I still see them from time to time. I seem to recall quite a few in Chicago a few years ago. Most are in poorer areas now and rusting, but Corsicas and Luminas aren't that rare yet.Berettas are much more scarce. -- Last edit: 2013-05-25 01:56:54 |

I see There's someone who owns a red Chevy Baretta in my city, he has it parked at the side of the road and it still looks quite good. ![]() |

Just tonight, on my commute home, I coincidentally passed a Corsica on the interstate and saw a Beretta turning at an intersection. Corsicas, Luminas and Berettas were good cars in their day. Ive seen them run past 150,000 miles, which was considered very good for an American car in the early-1990s.They had problems with the paint, though, so they looked bad even after only a few years.Berettas suffered some electrical problems, too.Corsicas and Luminas mostly just suffered from awful paint, and abuse as a result of their popularity as rental cars. |

And that's why filmmakers wreck those rare cars. |
