Caprinut ◊ 2018-11-29 16:22	Capri Lasers weren't based on L models as stated above at all, they were the run-out models for 4 cylinder Capris based on the previous S and Ghia models and were very high spec, with expensive features fitted as standard, costing the average UK salary when new. Lasers outsold most other Capris and as such, their high numbers in later years led to the misconception of them being cheap 'base' models. Capri Lasers in original mint condition are now very rare and can command high prices.
