1st thumb shows lot of wood (and the compilicated climate control??)inside, so the car probably wasn't exactly a bargain. AFAIK it is rather difficult to speak of "high" and "low spec" as far as this car (or all Mercs of that era) is concerned because there weren't any trim levels. Each tiny detail cost extra; doubling the base-price of these cars was rather easy to do. |
