The make is defiantly Ward (the predecessor to AmTran) but i'm not sure of the model. |

My guess is, that someone took it for a selfmade camper-conversion. It was definitely not used as a bus or school bus here. Maybe it was brought to Germany by the US Army. |

Some are also used as temporary "building" on parkings etc. for promotional events. |

My message was about the use of these in Europe, and to the question if they are road-legal, not about the role of the bus in the movie. |
