 IIRC in the DDR it was not common to paint the plate-number on the back side of trucks. This is a Russian manner (in the DPRK they do the same). |

Or early post-war. The Opel Blitz was the first four-wheeled vehicle in Germany, produced after the war. IIRC the assembling started already in late 1945. |
