1963 Chevrolet Impala Sport Sedan. I can't tell if this is/was equip with correct engine due to the front badge removed or modification. |

It did have the original engine and transmission , but it was removed for the movie so that the car could hop higher. The hydraulic system was built by reds in Florida . I purchased the car from the movie company on eBay for $1500 , the engine and transmission was shipped on a pallet along with the car. I then resold it on eBay for $3900! It was too big of a project for me to restore but since then the values of even impala sedans has went way up |
