Not a '1300 Junior' - its RHD, UK cars were Duetto (1600cc), later renamed as Spider Veloce when it was upgraded to 1750cc (1300 was a 'tax special' essentially for the Italian market and didn't have the plastic headlamp fairings among other things)

I have a Alfa spider that came to Australia with the reg. ULE22F by someone involved in the movie Crossplot.
I noticed the same reg. under the photo. Is there a picture of the registration on the car in England?

Hi from Neal "crossplot"
It is actually a 1750 Veloce that Alfa sent to England for the movie. A interior part in the movie shows the 1750 console between the seats
that is different to the 1600.
Thanks for your help

Hi from Neal "Crossplot" again. 105.58. Thank for updating but i'm such a stickler. The same car that was in the movie ULE22F that came here was raced for a while
by one of the top Alfa repairers (Beninca Motors) and was raced with the same ULE22F plate before it was reregistered with the KUB400 Aust road licence.
I have good race photos with the english plate. Details of the car fro Alfa Romeo for the car give it the type "codice tipo" 105.58 for the 1750 not 105.57.
Thank you so much for your help. It would be great to have it all correct.
Kind regards
Neal

I guess it may be typical Alfa coding trick where 105.57 was LHD and 105.58 RHD.

Hi from Neal . It was also used by Autocar in the late 60' for a track test comparison with other cars. In 2024 an Autocar publication revisited the test in an article
" What sports car track tests looked like in the 1960's". You will notice the same registration ULE22F.
Cheers
Neal
