MK1 1.8. Plate is believable, SMF 413M was also on a Marina, registered in 1974. |

Looks like a horribly "repaired" crash car - a total wreck! It's distorted at the front and the back, the back fender is smeared with paint (you cannot tell this repainted), even the rims got some orange and the vents in the C-pillar, too (weren't the originally black plastic or even chrome?) O.k., the Marina had a worst reputation about its quality (distorted, not fitting bodyparts and bad paintwork were mentioned in all German test reports about it), but I doubt, that it was that bad, as we can see it here. |

Wasn't there once a Mitchelin Tyre advert that must have been inspired by this "Two Faces of Evil" episode ?...It featured a Morris Ital Estate with a family driving through the woods in rainsoaked night where evil Viking raiders on horseback are coming out from the trees,, which turned out to be some huge artic truck coming the other way and they pull up just in time... |
