@130rapid: Have you ever ridden one? ![]() |

Yup, school friend had one and I drove it time to time when testing. Because I was champion of setting this engine (ignition point & contact breaker). After my magic touch it was able accelerate on 2nd (last) gear with just 10 km/h and any hestitation. I had 1989 Ogar 205 and it was more fun to drive for 13-year-old teen. |

Yep, I see. ![]() My friend had one 2 years ago, and I tried it once. It wasn't a thunder with its 1,7 hp engine, but was way faster (and accelerated better) than my father's Jawa Babetta. (which is a little bit powerful, but only has a centrifugal clutch and no transmission). By the way have you ever ridden any Jawa 350? |

I knew two samples of TS (typ 638) very well. Never drove, just few times rode as passanger. And I'm loving its 2-stroke twin's deep-rumbling sound still. ![]() |

I have a 350/638. Unfortunately in pretty bad condition, because it's been sitting for many-many years. Maybe it's gonna worth a lot of money in the future, because it's extremely rare- I have only seen one so far. Oh yea, its sound is really nice! Especially to me, being a real two-stroke fan. Some say the ETZ 250s sound more beatifully, though. |

They near died out in Poland also. It was one of most common motorbikes until 90s, then used Japanese motorbikes superseded it extremely fast. In mid 90s you could buy 5-10 year old, still good running Jawa 350 for 50-100 euro equivalent. The price for new cheap bike. Pedal bike, of course. Actually, there are two totaly different bikes. If we compare it to dogs ![]() ![]() |
