For the red-yellow ones. Seems both are of the same type. This site can be helpful (most of pics was even taken in the same location ): http://ander.nettisivu.org/buses-in-helsinki/ ,but I can't find there anything, what would look exactly like these two. |

Looks like the typical 80's Standard Bus (VÖV II), body seems to be Hispano Carrocera VÖV-II, chassis probably Scania K93 CLB or Volvo B10M![]() ![]() |

To me it very much looks like Volvo B9M or B10M with Wiima K202 bodies like here http://lenobltrans.narod.ru/vyb/vyb129-1.jpg (a B10M). |

Now it is indeed similar. At the linked site there are some K202 with the same paint scheme, but have newer, bigger windows in doors. By the different door config: 2-2-1, they will stay on own page. -- Last edit: 2012-03-20 16:23:49 |

These are Vantaan Liikenne buses, and indeed Volvo B10M with Wiima K202 body, circa 1989-90. http://bussidata.kuvat.fi/kuvat/V/Vantaan+Liikenne/085+BFA-226+Joxa.jpg |

It's nice to see not only Polish cities used this awful eye-striking yellow-red color scheme;) |

I even like these colors in Warsaw. ![]() You wouldn't like to have buses/trams in this "elegant" grey, like it was tested on 120N? Would you? ![]() |

I would Grey isn't 'elegant', but simply elegant. But what I miss the most is classic red/creme color scheme. Two bright colors doesn't go together, every graphic designer would say that to you;) |

Sorry, but to me, this "primer" definitely didn't represent any greater aesthetic value than the current livery. It is how this bright, matt grey looked alike - "color" of unfinished, unpainted plastic model - rather scary. Let's hope they will not "redesign" our yellow-red flag in the same way ==> (pic lost) ![]() The livery introduced few years ago (and finally used only at the SKM trains) was incomparably better. Ah, if we could have only such problems... -- Last edit: 2018-10-10 13:21:00 |

Yellow-red colors on the city flag are so trivial in Poland, it bores me to death. They're colors of almost half of the cities number. I like monochromatic grey color schemes, they're distinctive. We just have to aesthetically grow up to admit that. Now we're still on the 'paint it with random colors but please no grey!' level, which is totally common attitude in post-communist countries. I liked previous SKM livery better, but temporary is quite good. Aesthetics are the major problem in Poland! My theory is that lack of taste and uglyness of one's environment are one of the most depressing factors in life. |

These are colors used in foreign capitals. @blinski I like calm colors, I'm not against monochrome liveries (though worth to remember it doesn't work good with every type of design), but I would like to remind, we (at least me) are talking about this particular tone of grey: Link to "3.bp.blogspot.com" I find it neuter in fact - unattractive, it might be good as addition, but not when entire vehicle is painted this way. Matter of taste - it has nothing to do with the fact I remember a bit commie times. ![]() Also when people could vote, do they want tramcars to become grey, some noted, and were right, that such color is less visible at the street and this way can cause dangers in traffic, what is "rather" quite important. I do not claim that yellow-red livery is beautiful (despite I like it), but yellow with red stripes is definitely not the same what pink with green dots, so this is not something to be ashamed of. Nie będę tutaj dyskutował na temat mentalności naszego narodu, jego gustach, wadach, nie jest to dobre do tego miejsce, wyciąganie tego "za granicą" niczego nie załatwi. -- Last edit: 2012-03-31 19:33:22 |

Err, wouldn't you see this discussion about the colours of town-buses as obsolete, when you think about the fact, that the colour shemes are depending on the company -public or private owned, no matter-? ![]() |

All public and private companies have to use the same colors (taken from the flag of the city). Big variations in liveries are not possible. Similar is with other towns - exceptions are rare and rather temporary. |

I thought almost everywhere it looks similar. In Berlin for sure:) Kolory, czcionki, grafika reklamowa, architektura - hobby:D |
