Unlike Dodge who gave only model numbers between 1957 and 1959 (1), Fargo's truck model names had a prefix from 1957 onward: D for the conventional trucks, T for the conventional tandems and C for the COEs. (Dodge & Fargo 1957 brochure covers - Excerpts) As "small" heavy-duty truck, most probably a D-400 or D-500 (D-600 to D-900 were also available). → D-Series _____ 1: Yet the same prefix letters than Fargo were already used in the model codes of Dodge's trucks. |
