It's a 1962-63 Brazilian made Simca Vedette Chambord, because of the extra chrome strip bend on the rear of the front door, like here Link to "www.flickr.com" . Simca Vedette was made at Poissy in France between 1958 and 1961 and after that they continued the production in São Bernardo do Campo in Brazil until 1966. |

1963 Simca-Chambord 3 Sincros. The badge with three swallows in the front (and rear) door was used to make clear the gearbox was full syncronized. The first year was 1963. Simca do Brasil never baptised their products with Vedette name. Products were Simca Chambord, Simca Présidence (with spare wheel on the rear bumpers and lot of gold badges) and Simca Rallye (with two round openings in front hood).
