1968-72, although I'm not sure of the weight-class. |

According to a brouchure I've got (ADV. 726- (7-69)) concerning GMC conventional models Series 4500-6500, the only model available with tandem axles was ME-6500. These must have been immensley expensive to drive as most must have been equipped with petrol engines. There were a choice of seven petrol engines (V8 (350,366 and 427), V6 and straight 6) and only one diesel. I suggest a GMC ME-6500. |

Did some searching... it would appear that the big trucks started using side marker lights in 1969, so 1969-72. Series number is tougher. Found 960 series in 1967-68, and 6500 and 9500 from 1969-72. |
