Yes, the 1965 did have the cornering lights, but the easiest give-away is the "C O N T I N E N T A L" lettering over the grille. It is the larger 1966 to 1969 body and the larger 1968 and 1969 grille shape, though these details are a little difficult to scrutinize in the dark setting. The bomb victim model looks like a 1961 to 1963 model with some 1969 hubcaps put on it (notice that the burning model lacks the side marker lights above the bumper.
