I found the following phrase: "the '59 Galaxie and Fairlane were virtually impossible to tell apart other than the ornamentation and model name designation." It was mentionned in http://www.conceptcarz.com/vehicle/z8891/Ford-Galaxie.aspx So that I guess will be very difficult to clear this matter.
