West German or from Benelux country (maybe even British, but rather not). Sort of detective film or mini-series. Poor main character had later drive such re-painted Audi 80 or 90 of this gen. till the end of film (not less than 4 stars for sure). I saw this only once in TV at the end of 1980s.
