By the wide grill and this what seems to be a Z badge, a Nasr version of Zastava i believe. On the other hand Nasr seems produced 128's only with 3rd series grill of Fiat. This car clearly has pre-1982 grill of Zastava, but looks like a sedan body... Edit - didn't notice the title. But is it still possible that it was faked in Egypt. Looks like typical taxi livery from there. Or maybe we ca see more of the rear. -- Last edit: 2011-09-08 18:37:18 |

The location is definitely not Pakistan, where cars are right hand drive. EDIT: The number plate appears to be a genuine 1980s Egyptian one: http://www.worldlicenseplates.com/world/AF_EGYP.html -- Last edit: 2011-09-08 23:13:33 |

Good information Gag and thanks for the pics Lateef. To be honest I'm not able to say what body it is. Logically it should be a Zastava "hatchback", but somehow I'm not sure is it really a hatchback. Edit: Seems Nasr manufactured already the "old" 128, maybe they changed the grill when started to import parts form Yugoslavia... http://www.productioncars.com/gallery.php?car=15978&make=El -- Last edit: 2011-09-08 23:51:57 |
