Although there are indicator lights on the rear of the front fenders (like on the 190), this is a 6-cylinder version: streamlined indicators on the front of the front fenders and quarterlights in the rear doors. So 1954+ 220 or 1956+ 220 S [W180] (or even a 1958/59 220 SE [W128], but those were very rare). I think I can just recognise the specific S-version side trim. I suppose the extra indicators were an Italian feature, and because of the squared rear license plate the model badge has moved from under the MB-star to the left of the license plate. |
