It has been given a body lift, which I do not prefer. The bumpers are not tucked up against the body because of the body lift. If one must lift a 4x4, it’s generally better to get a suspension lift, even if it costs more. |

body lifts are okay as it gives you more tire clearance (to install larger tires) but that is the only thing it does. To get more ground clearance a suspension lift is needed which is a better option (like Neptune said). I have installed body lifts in conjunction with suspension lifts on some of my Suzukis in the past to give me the most clearance possible but I always installed bumper brackets to raise the bumpers with the body so they didn't look out of place. I would install a body lift on my Jeep KJ if it were possible. |
