It has been given a body lift, which I do not prefer. The bumpers are not tucked up against the body because of the body lift. If one must lift a 4x4, it’s generally better to get a suspension lift, even if it costs more.

body lifts are okay as it gives you more tire clearance (to install larger tires) but that is the only thing it does. To get more ground clearance a suspension lift is needed which is a better option (like Neptune said). I have installed body lifts in conjunction with suspension lifts on some of my Suzukis in the past to give me the most clearance possible but I always installed bumper brackets to raise the bumpers with the body so they didn't look out of place. I would install a body lift on my Jeep KJ if it were possible.
