Can't tell from this photo what body but it has the bumpers of a Sprinfield. So 10 were made, I'm not sure over what period. 2 or more have the painted canework design in the rear quarter, maybe all, though I've seen a photo of one said to be the Riviera but did not have the canework. I gather that in Midway this was the RR - was it used by the Admiral or the Emperor? Can't remember. But where is this car today? Only P1 Rivera Town Car I know of personally, originally owned by Henry Luce (Time), was very worn out by the late 60's, in a rebuilders shop in Wilkes Barre or Kingston PA when the area was flooded around 1972, didn't help the woodwork any. Even then, a beautiful car. |

Something to add; I found my very few photos of the car, mid 1972 or so post Hurricane Agnes. I've been told it's not possible, but this P1 has the American style drum headlights. |
