This Diplomat has the optional California "golden sun" license plates, which were introduced in 1982. So this Diplomat is probably 1982-1985. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I think that the cars on the fourth picture are not ,,two Chevys'' as John Vukovich says (maybe he meant the two Malibus in front of them). The car on the left is the same Diplomat but I cannot identify the car on the right. It seems me like Jimmy Hart's Diplomat. The dark green paint was last offered in 1981, so if the one in the top picture was never repainted its either '80 or '81, the yellow and lime green ones have both been repainted neither are factory colors (that lime green looks a lot like one of Chrysler's early '70s High Impact colors, Green-Go I think they called it) |
