I'm thinking something based on a 2000+ Mitsubishi Lancer (Cedia), maybe a Mitsubishi Virage (that's what they were called in Taiwan according to Wikipedia), but I haven't found any pictures that would match 100%. |

I think I have. But all of them are with plates from Thailand: url1, url2, url3. Also this guy from here has taken a photo of a taxi during his time in Taiwan and mistakenly identifies it on his blog as Toyota Altis, but it looks like Lancer and I think it's the same type of car like in our image.
