 No 1990, it's 1980-1986, see the wheels, the bumpers and the plastic trims on the door's bottom.Sure about a 500 SE? It can also be something else, the most common version was the 280 SE. |

It looks like the same car throughout - only one headlamp wiper and a bit of tape where the other one was - compare main and 2nd thumb. But stripped for the boom scene. I can't get the plate check sites to show this one, but can anyone get a date of manufacture? |

@Gomsel:  Maybe you'll find a way, how to be tricky with the import and registration. If there would be a way, it should be possible to find something for you, which is really cheap here, but premium, high-end-class in Argentina. If you see your incredible local prices for old, but imported clunkers, you'll see, that even included the shipping across the Atlantic Ocean, you'll save thousands od € or $, if you would buy a car here. |

@ ingo: sure. Except the classic cars, the imports of second-hand cars are totally forbidden (except some rare exceptions). Some cars are very difficult to bought here, as the german high-end-class cars. But no matter, ever have good oportunities |
