Back then it was planned, that Star will start production of those cabs for their newer 300 series trucks via cooperation with Volvo. Some 1:1 prototypes also have been made. EDIT: The article I've mentioned here, put a bit different light on this cooperation. The cabine was in fact meant to be licensed by the Saviem (well same "Club of 4" design). The 1:1 protoype, at this stage of the project, was perhaps just a rebadged French made Saviem - its story isn't very clear.
