After some search, I'm thinking for these two of this movie in a german MAN or in an austrian ÖAF (Österreichische Automobil-Fabrik and MAN subsidiary) I have found some ÖAF Tornado that could match with the pictures but I don't know if that model was sold in the beginning of the '50s. After some more search about REO and based in the other comment and pic in /vehicle_374339.html![]() I've found REO changed the nose style for 1948 model year for its Models 30 and 31 as this model 31 http://www.hankstruckpictures.com/pix/trucks/t_brad_dunkin/2005/feb/file0006.jpg or this Ad. ![]() What do you think, truck-experts? Edited: I've rewatched the scene and I'm not sure the truck used with REO at the rear is the same as the submited on main picture. It seems the scene is copy and paste of two differents scenes. And this would be for both trucks with similar fronts in this page and in /vehicle_374339.html -- Last edit: 2011-02-10 20:10:32 |

ÖAF? Saurer? I'm towards an austrian connection, too. |
