1968 Dodge Charger R/T. I saw a interview with Vince Vaugh talking about the Film at the Body Shop. And I saw that the Charger was a 1968. No split grille. |

Actually it is a 1968 Charger. I personally know the car, and previous owner from Detroit. It is an original 426 hemi, with a 4 speed. I never thought he's sell it. Chrysler bought it from him. The car never is in a moving scene, but he said the sound you hear in the movie is the charger. I'm not sure if he said their is an electric car, or it was the challenger. He said the car spent a lot of time on the Dyno to get all the sounds down right. |
