What town is this? Looks neat. Reminds me of San Francisco.

Strange lines on the screenshots in this movie. Did you take a photo of the TV? :)

As Gomsel wrote, it's filmed in the South of Argentina. /movie_188602-Esta-es-mi-Argentina.html

The houses are a bit too small for San Francisco, and the hills not steep enough ;) The rectangular street-array is typical for nearly every town in North and South America. Totally different than in Europe, where the infrastructure was growing through centuries. Even the mass-destroying of the WWII (and the urbanist's sins of the 50ies and 60ies, which were worse in some towns) hasn't changed much with that.

@ Owlman and ingo: yes, i take a picture from the TV with the LifeView TVR 2000 ;) Pity, i cannot record with this TV Card, because not developed for Windows Vista.
I think its in Comodoro Rivadavia (Chubut Province), the birthplace of the Argentine oil because there are lots of sites (though not as exploited).
http://w3.comodoro.gov.ar/ the web of the city.
EDIT: The film have some several interference and imperfections due to age, and transmission was not all good.

Yes, thank you, I can read. "The South of Argentina" is not a very specific town name, which is why I asked! ;)

Well, better to have a fuzzy picture than none at all! (in my opinion)
I must say that is a very annoying placement of the TV station star logo :)
