"with roof removed" ... isn't it shorter to say "without roof" ? ![]() Maybe to list as "Custom-made Convertible" like others, but on this one the conversion is not made very cleanly. -- Last edit: 2010-12-30 13:41:23 |

Well in this case I thought it was better to leave it like this, in order to clarify that the roof was removed specifically for this movie, rather than being without roof since some time before the movie was made. I believe the roof was chopped off because they couldn't find an operable convertible for the scene. They wanted to use a convertible because it would've been easier to get in and out for the escaping main character, or maybe because they wanted to as accurately as possible mimic the original scene from the novel. It's not a big deal though. |
