CougarTim ◊ 2010-06-22 19:46	The license plate is designed after a Virginia plate first issued in 1975 to celebrate the 1976 Bicentennial. However, it's a fake since the actual plates had the format 123-456. I think the Corvette is 1970-1972 based on the bumpers and the side vents. -- Last edit: 2010-06-22 19:49:44

4x4peru ◊ 2010-06-22 21:24	1971. Amber parking lens on front is late '71-72. The rear view show NO alarm system which was optional is '71 and became standard in '72. This is late production 1971.
Commander 57 ◊ 2010-06-22 22:52	I noticed the parking lamps, but with the bulbs burning, you can't really tell. Are the lenses amber or is the bulb itself amber?

4x4peru ◊ 2012-08-09 23:14	Beautiful car regardless. A '72 should have the standard anti-theft alarm activation switch in the rear center. Without actually seeing the VIN it would be a 1971. There may have been an alarm delete option for '72 but I am not aware of it?
apexmww ◊ 2012-08-10 03:42	VIN is 1Z37K2S502552. Sixth position is a 2 so it is a 72. I will have to check to see if the key lock hole for the ant theft has been filled in. It was early production so maybe that was the issue.
