Anyone notice that in the 'The Cadillac' arc, there's no license plate?

It's because Jerry bought it brand new for his dad.

That's not an excuse. The dealer should have arranged for a plate.

Any vehicle driven on public roads (which this is) must, by law throughout North America, have a license plate, or a temporary registration paper displayed until a plate is delivered.

Since no temporary registration is ever seen, it is in violation of Florida law, and Jerry would have been pulled over the second he pulled out of the dealership.

Quote Why must I register my motor vehicle?

In the state of Florida, a motor vehicle is required by law to be registered within ten days of the owner either becoming employed, placing children in public school, or establishing residency. Registering your motor vehicle goes hand in hand with the titling process.

Here's another thing.

When Jerry's parents tell him they were getting rid of the car, he mentions the Northstar System, to which they say they hardly ever use it.

Problem is, the Northstar System is another name for the Northstar V8, and all Fleetwoods from 1993-96 had the LO5 Chevy 350, not the Northstar.

Actually, the 1993 has the L05, the 1994-96's had LT1s.

The main image is from episode 8.12, not 13.

Please change it.

What happened to the car? How did they get rid off it? Do they ever get rid off it?

That was a writing error, Jerry or his dad meant to say the “ONSTAR system” which was a communication system in higher GM cars like cadillac and Oldsmobiles, generally used for emergency situations like vehicle stuck, inoperable or accidents.

The Northstar as previously mentioned was a high output modular V8 engine introduced in 1993 on the Allante and Seville/Eldorado, Fleetwoods all had the 350 ci V8.
