cl82 ◊ 2010-06-15 21:57	W108(regular wheelbase)/W109(longer wheelbase, so SEL instead of S/SE. This one seems to be a "regular" one, so rather W108 if it really is a 280SE indeed.
Ingo ◊ 2010-06-15 22:29	Sorry cl82, but you're mixing up two different things. The W-Code is not identical with the wheelbase. Short wheelbase-W108 are "S" or "SE", the long wheelbase is the "SEL" (as at other S-Klasse-ranges, too). A W109 has the 8cyl-engine in combination with the air-suspension and the SEL-chassis.
