Lost likely a 3500. All of the police versions were. |

We know truly it's 1st Series (1976-1981) car only. Otherwise one blue light on roof indicates plain patrol "Area car" as UK police slang claims. Area cars had typically (not always!) 2600 engine. Fast response "traffic cars" with two lights usually had V8 engine. |

Of course! By the way, 2600 should be mark as 1977 MY. |

![]() Plate is NRU 899P which makes it an old friend: /vehicle_908653-Rover-3500-SD1-1976.html /vehicle_508519-Rover-3500-SD1-1976.html /vehicle_289537-Rover-3500-SD1-1976.html /vehicle_85606-Rover-3500-SD1-1976.html Inconsistency alert: the first one has "Police" as extra info, but others do not. |
