Maybe a stupid question, but is the plate authentic?

I'm just back from two weeks vacations in Scotland and I've seen, just for miliseconds in the diverted traffic, two times cars with British plates, which had a red logo, similar as this one here. And it was not the sign of the Isle of Man. This contains red, too, but it's smaller.

The logo appears to be Tweetie-Pie from the cartoons (Merrie Melodies/Looney Tunes). The font might interest the police, too.

Yes, I've seen, that it's Tweetie-Pie, so I'm irritated, because the unknown red logo's, I've seen, looked similar.

Aren't different font's like above allowed in Britain? I've seen some, too.

Different fonts are allowed on vehicles registered before 1/9/2001, but only if they satisfy certain requirements as to size and visibility, which I doubt if this does. That said, enforcement varies between police forces.

No DVLA record after 2005 - RIP. Date of First Registration 02-01-1980 and confirms 1593cc.
