First Chrysler model specifically designed for Australia. AP1 model designation stands for either Australian Production or Australian Plymouth, then design number 1. They were followed by [AP2] and [AP3] Royals, then [AP5] and [AP6] designations were allocated to the first two Australian designed Valiants. There was no [AP4] model, but there was [AT4] used in the Australian Dodge truck, possibly Australian Truck, design number 4. |
