I guess its common for imported 'road-train'/heavy trucks where the cost of a RHD conversion is probably considered too high? Mostly working over long distances over highways where they meet little traffic, so LHD should not be a problem. |

I don't know if it's an R-600, but it is an R-Series. |

@ Sunbar. The use of Left Hand Drive vehicles in Australia is highly regulated. The most likely explanation for this unit being LHD, is it's application. It appears to have no registration, so it would most likely be used on a private haul road. The trailers appear to be belly dump, but may be a side tipping trailer. In which case you want the driver on the side the trailers tip to. Otherwise it's actually cheaper to purchase a unit set up from your local dealer. |
