Continental was still a separate brand for these models.

If you look at the brochure, the Continental is never called a Lincoln, while the Premer and Capri are.

Yes, we have dealt with that here several times before.
The same is true of the 1959 brochures. But in the 1960 editions, Ford calls them "Lincoln Continental".

I think they list them all as Lincolns here to avoid confusion/ease of location for new users but you are technically correct.

Which brings up an interesting issue?
For consistancy, why don't we list all 1960 and 1961 Comets as Mercurys?

I don't think that they should be separated simply for ease of use. They should be listed with accuracy being the primary concern.

I really like the diagonal headlights on these Lincolns! Very odd, but I love it!
