I'm sure it is a 1942 DeSoto for the hidden headlights (in the picture exposed since in function!). |

There were no American built cars for domestic sale from about Feb or March of 1942 until the summer of 1945. As such, there is no such thing as a "1943", "1944" or "1945" model year civilian car. Interesting '42 Desoto pix. Don't think I have ever seen one with its headlamp doors open before. |
