The Volkswagen is chased around a Las Vegas construction site by the Lincoln.

As my dad's first own car. But his one was cream-white. And with two big smiley-stickers on the back :)

Only 1968, because of the tank-lid, which is openable by hand. At the 1969- and 1970-version is was to open from the inside with a small cable. Only 1968 are the black wheels with the white around, too. After 1969 they were silvermetallic. But this means not much, they can be changed.

The white/blue car in the center is a 1972 Ford Pinto with the one-year-only Sprint package.

On the main pic there are three different VW Typ 2 visible, a 1964+ T1 Bus/Station Wagen, behind it a Brazilian made T1 (or maybe an original Samba? ) and a 1968 T2a with Westfalia Camper-kit.

The Class A motorhome in the background has rather distinctive windows. I'm sure I've seen something like it before, but I can't remember the name.

You might want to use white space in between images, otherwise my IE7 will show one long string of pictures :p

Sorry about that. I'm using IE8, and it creates a new row of thumbnails when it gets to the end. I'll try to remember to create rows.

The Class A Motorhome is an Open Road Americana, quite worth a page in my opinion.

strange colour... I remeber such shade of green in the Karmann bodied VWs as the Cabriolet and the Karmann Ghias... but on the Beetle sedan.
