I don't think this is a taxi, since London taxis in those days tend to have the license plate located on top of the roof, right? |

I cannot say 100% if taxis always had the number high on the roof. However the thumbnail looks like a taxi rank outside the National Galley, London. edit: Just checked again, and there are two Renaults another cab (all with the typical white-walled tyres) and a horse-drawn cab in a line apparently waiting for fares??
