1973 was the first year for the opera windows, and I think it was also the first year for the thicker side trim.

That is really nice looking in that color with the wire wheels... :love:

WOW! Cool to have you family car enshrined on film for eternity! I used to watch the Rockford Files in reruns a few years ago, and occasionally on demand. The cool green Seventies color is what made me look at this car, and though I am not a Thunderbird expert, the wheels look rather unique and likely a somewhat uncommon or rare option? These days, if someone said, "Hey, that is my Dad's beige Camry!", I'd just ignore it and move on, but when someone bought a car in 1973, there were so many options and combinations that not only were no two cars alike in specs, but frequently few cars matched others visually (color of body, roof, interior, wheel covers, etc.) So you don't need to convince me! Fun bit of information on an interesting looking car! You'd have little problem finding your car (or indeed any car) back in the day of uniquness, and today, if you had it, everyone would know you! Love it!!!
