Are you sure it's a one-off?

And i know it.

its a 1961 Vignale spider. Built by maserati, but designt by Vignale. and because de designer of this car, was retarired in 1970. he got it with him, like sme sort of a goodbyepresent, after that. hij changed a few small things, like the way he designt it, because he though that maserati changed it to much. i hope i said it good in english, but its a One-Off Desgin.

quite cool to know.

it´s not a one off, 242 Vignale Spider were build from 1959 to 1964.

I think this is the 1958 Maserati 3500 GT Vignale Spyder Commande Speciale - Special Order - a one-off modified Series 1. There are some confusing details at http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?p=140844838 including that it was Dutch-owned, but unclear if it was modified by Maserati or he did it himself.
