antp ◊ 2016-06-05 19:27	Seems that P-30 is part of the model name, cf some of Elmer's comments: /yourcomments.php?search=p-30&id=elmer but probably not all vehicles were yet properly updated (not sure that P-30 in model name applies to all [P-30])

The accurate model/chassis code are more detailed: see the "spoiler" part in this post. From what I understood, [P-30] and similar [P-10]/[P-20] codes were used at first as chassis code in the IMCDb the same way [C-10]/[C-20]/[C-30] codes were. Now that the latter codes have been moved to the name part, it's maybe time to do it also with the P-Series models? And if we want more accuracy, we should give the 1964-82 big vans (i.e. the P-20 and the P-30) their complete name, which is Step-Van King: (Excerpts of the 1964, 1968 and 1980 brochures) (1982 brochure excerpt, with the model codes. The King part doesn't appear on later brochures) It would be easy for the 1964-67 models, but should we give this complete name to all 1968+ model or only to 1968-77 ones (when identifiable as such), as there's no detail to help differentiate a 1978-82 model from a 1983+ one? _____ For the record, the van of the main pic has indeed the wheel rims of the "heaviest" 1-ton P-30: stronghold wrote [...] [...]
