Or maybe it's another car with plates from another RAV4? I find that very hard to believe, as so many details match. But indeed I haven't found any RAV4s for sale older than 1998 with this colour. So maybe it's a resprayed one? -- Last edit: 2011-04-27 13:10:07 |

Another possibility is Confetti Blue Metallic (-1997). |

Built August of 1994. https://www.toyodiy.com/parts/q?vin=JT171SC1000028092 Full chassis code is [SXA10]. US got it for 1995 MY I believe. Japan and EU got it for 1994. Reverting as the 10th digit is a 0. Does not adhere to normal MY standard by the type of VIN issued. |

@dhill_cb7; Before you revert too many entries, please read the data provided in lateef's post above |

Indeed I see Lateef's data from the plate site. However, that site only uses the first date of registration; not the MY or the build year. We have seen plenty of instances where a car is registered before or after the MY/build date. Seems to be the same case with the NZ plate check site. However, I believe we should use the build date when the 10th MY digit is a 0 but that is not a call for me to make. |

I think "arsmodell" means model year |
