 Many thanks!  It's a K 70 L from the 1973-modelyear (only 1973) in leuchtorange with optional headrests (in 1973 they have cost extra money). The mirror is supermarket-stuff, the mudflaps aren't original, too (obviosly not the "original Swedish" ones, which were bigger), about the fog lamps I'm not 100% sure, if they are the Hella-version. It seems so, the Bosch ones had a different house. An orange 1973 K 70 L was my first own car in 1990. .gif ":)") Drive by a Captain - similar as the white 1971-K 70, which was running since 1973 in the Estonian SSR of the Soviet Union. One of the very few Western cars, which were imported privately by a Soviet citizen. For sure citizens with influence and connections. @Weasel: was the K 70 officially sold in Poland? The VW export-statistics say, that only 6 were officially brought there. Or was it possible in 1981 for private persons to import cars? |
