Driven by Pauley Perrette's character Abby Sciuto.

This car is apparently not a Deuce Coupe, a 1932 Ford Model B.

It is distinguished by two items, the chrome radiator shell (the 1932 Fords had a body colored rounded shell) and the gas cap placed on the cowl in front of the windshield. Model A Fords, 1928-1931, had their gas fillers in the rather precarious position between the firewall and the cab.

So Ms. Sciuto's personal ride is a Model A hot rod.

The car is owned by Larry Fuentes, Special F/X Coordinator for the NCIS series. He describes it as follows: "It's a 1931 Ford Coupe hot rod, with a 350 Chevy engine, 420 H.P., Hydro Transmission, and is equipped with flame throwers." ~ SOURCE: http://ncisreferencelibrary.wetpaint.com/page/Abby%27s+Car

Like most hot rods, it uses parts from more than one model year.

The hot rod will be seen again in the 2010 season premier!

Previously, Abby's car was referred to in the dialogs as a HEARSE.
Did the hearse ever make a visual appearance in the show?

That's an odd encouragement to a first time poster.
I replaced the images. I'd have used click-able thumbnails the 1st time, but it was lunchtime and Help page, nor Help/FAQ, has any help with which BBcode/HTML are supported here. Maybe in the Forum?

More than likely, a fiberglass body. Notice the "chopped" top.
The fenders seem to be fiberglass....look at the rears extra length.

It may not even be on a Ford chassis.

In the real (non-TV) world, no one would own one as a daily driver or only car.

The car is my dad's car who is the special effects coordinator on NCIS. He kept it all in stock/original condition but just cleaned up it piece by piece down to the nitty gritty. You are right....he does not have for his only car. He does use this car for personal use but uses it more for a hobby car along with many others.

Never Know. Hot rodders arent exactly known for being Consistent when building a Car. Ford with a GM Engine, GM with a Chrysler HEMI, Fords with Parts from Different years
