I wasn't able to get a good shot of it, but, yes, most probably, it's the same one from the first movie. ![]() In fact, it's even used by the same character (the main characters' best friend) so I'm gonna go out on a limb and say yes, it's the same type of car, if not THE same one. -- Last edit: 2009-08-01 13:29:43 |

There, added the best shot of it I could get. Really it's only seen in a couple of shots like this, but there's enough that I can tell it's a station wagon. I'll go through the movie again later and see what else I can dig up. |

Actually this looks more like a 1965+ Series III with the new, higher windscreen and thicker rubber / less metal windscreen frame... |

The picture here is a wagon or an estate car but not I believe the Hillman Super Minx. There is no Super Minx air inlet seen in front of the wiper on the left of the picture. The front wing panel join at the windscreen is the wrong shape. ![]() |

I think there is. It's colored dark gray, and the guy's body is blocking most of it. But we'll know more when I can get a better shot of the thing. |

Front wing profile looks similar to a Austin A55/A60 to me (but details not quite right). So based on that, my guess is its a 1965 Peugeot 404 Estate Car...![]() |

We have another listed as "404 Estate" |

Better picture added showing whole body. Memo to self: watch the ENTIRE movie next time to see if there's full-body shots of the friggin' cars. Oy. |
