Incorrect, it's a JDM Toyota Camry. They're very popular here as taxi's. ![]() |

Why is it made a Nissan Cefiro? Did/Do we have them in Europe? |

The Cefiro was sold as the Maxima in Europe. Here in Ireland, we import alot of used cars from Japan, many end up as taxi's for some reason. The Camry above was a unique design to Japan, that particular model design wasn't sold officially anywhere else. |

Japan exports lots of second-hand cars, and not so many countries also drive on left ![]() |

...for example in Ireland. There you can see more of them than in Britain. AFAIK the country, which is really overflooded with used Japanese cars, is New Zealand. I've heard, that there the local assembly plants of Nissan and Ford were closed due that. P.S. Some single cars have reached Germany, too. I've seen two times Nissan Skyline's here. O.k., this model was never imported, but both cars were original Japanese (plate-holders for example), so no British imports. -- Last edit: 2010-06-22 18:16:04 |
