It's not pillared what I think doesn't make it a Fairlane but, I think to remember that Galaxie 500 had an emblem in the top of the hood and didn't have this Customs. Is it what it seems? And, is it a sedan or a hardtop? |

I think this does have the hood ornament, and it is for sure a hardtop. There was an extended scene inside the car, but the outside, all we see is this shot and a very quick blur (it supposedly crashes off camera). Based on the side badging I see, I'm confident this is a '66 Ford Galaxie 500. |
